
Very Rev. Zubby Agboifo, OMSC
Vicar General
Fr. Zubby Agboifo, OMSC is a devoted member of the Orthodox Missionary Society of Christ, a congregation within the Orthodox Catholic Archdiocese of North America, He currently serves as the Vicar General of the Archdiocese.
Withing the Archdiocese, Fr. Zubby has been deeply involved with formation. He has previously held the following positions; Dean of Seminarians, Director of Formation, Director of Communications and Information Technology, and most recently, Director of Vocations and Chaplain of Seminarians.
Fr. Zubby is a decorated veteran of the United States Air Force, having served with distinction in the Civil Engineering Squadron of the 106 Rescue Wing of the New York Air National Guard. His exemplary military service earned him numerous commendations, including the Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Air Force Longevity Service Award, and the Air Force Training Ribbon.
As a bi-vocational religious, Fr. Zubby is an accomplished academic, holding four master’s degrees: a Master of Science in Project Management, a Master of Science in Cloud Computing Systems, a Master of Divinity, and a Master of Arts in Religious Studies. He is also an esteemed Artificial Intelligence and Data Governance Thought Leader and Researcher, an engaging public speaker, and a renowned event concierge. Fr. Zubby has hosted many international level lectures, including four prior Professor Wole Soyinka Annual Lectures among a host of events.
