Very Rev. Dr. Kesiena Dennis Obienu is the Director of Vocations and General Secretary of the Ecclesiastical Council. A dynamic and spiritually grounded leader, he brings to this role a unique blend of ecclesiastical commitment, academic scholarship, and transformative leadership. His dual responsibilities encompass guiding individuals in discerning their religious vocations while also serving as the chief administrative officer of the council, ensuring strategic coordination, pastoral governance, and canonical fidelity across the ecclesiastical body. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades in religious education, school administration, pastoral ministry, human development, and military chaplaincy, the Very Rev. Dr. Obienu has consistently demonstrated a passion for nurturing future leaders. His vocational leadership is grounded in a deep understanding of Ignatian pedagogy, pastoral care, and organizational development, shaped by his work in seminaries, schools, and faith-based communities across the U.S. and Nigeria. He holds a Doctor of Education in Leadership, a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, and an MBA in Human Resource Management, among other academic credentials.
